22 Apr Trend Alert: Indigo as a statement color in home interiors
Blue is often known as a colour of melancholy, but this season, we think indigo hues in your home textiles as a choice should be high up the ladder. An elegant dining area, a contemporary centre table or classy bedroom decor – deep indigo is going viral in home furnishings around the world. It’s a simple yet rich tone that easily combines which matches any style or colour.
Have a look at indigo used in home interiors:
- Indigo in patterns
Indigo combined with a lighter hue in patterns, such as a white or a very light grey is a great way to accentuate interiors. We think patterns & colours with indigo work very well for your bedding (bed sheets, quilt) or even a floor rug.
- Indigo in solids with patterns
This look works fabulously for sofas & cushions. A combination of solid indigo cushions and indigo patterned cushions is a great way to add a classy touch.
- Indigo with blues & textures
We suggest mixing deep indigo tones with other shades of blues , natural linen and some textures. Works well with bathroom linen.
- Indigo & other hues
This is our personal favourite. Adding bright hues with indigo is a brilliant contrast and elevates the vibe of your interiors instantly. Easiest way to distinguish your interiors from the rest is with this style.
